Club Night Results 8th Oct

Tonight saw the return of two of West City's prodigal sons... 

Former NZDC National Youth Champion Jack Mitchell and prolific 140/180 hitter Mike F Day were down at the Club this week. 

Despite both being away from darts for some time JM qualified for the KO rounds and MFD hit 2 x 180s. 

But these two returning stars were soon fading, outshone tonight by a hotter sun in the form of Frank "The R... hold on that's not going to work, the sun isn't out at night.

 ...outshone tonight by a hotter moon in the form of Fra... hot moon? not going to work. ...

outshone tonight by a brighter star in the form of Frank "The Riddler" Riddell. Nailed it. 

"The Riddler" rocketed through the rounds hitting 9 x 180s on the way. 

I've been playing at West City for a fair few years now but I do not recall anybody hitting 9 x 180s on the one Club Night. 

Frank met the high scoring Heemi Johnson in the final but Heemi couldn't stop this shooting star tonight as Frank ran out the winner 5-2. 

If you read my West City-Auckland Open preview from a few days ago. I had Frank at 8-1 to win the Open. I have slashed his odds on this performance to 7-2.
