Darts in New Zealand

The Clubs
You can play organised darts in New Zealand at many dedicated dart clubs, chartered clubs and RSAs. These clubs run individual tournaments (generally for singles and pairs) as well as running teams in local leagues.

National Governing Bodies
The national governance of darts is overseen by three organisations, the NZDC (New Zealand Darts Council), the DPNZ (Dart Players New Zealand) and Clubs New Zealand Incorporated. Individual Clubs are affiliated to one or more of these organisations and run tournaments under their relevant rules

West City Darts
West City is a member of Clubs New Zealand Incorporated and is also affiliated to the NZDC and DPNZ. This is advantageous if you wish to play in all national tournaments run by either NZDC, DPNZ or Clubs NZ Inc. as being a member of West City entitles you to enter all tournaments run by these organisations. West City itself runs some of these major tournaments
