West City Darts Reopening

WEST CITY DARTS ASSOCIATION
CLUB NIGHTS

Thursday, 28 May 2020

To All Club Members and regular guests.

The West City Darts Association Committee has agreed that from Thursday 4th June 2020, Darts Club Nights will recommence. Conditional to this is that we strictly adhere to Ministry of Health guidelines.

Alert Level 2
All venues and sporting facilities, including clubrooms and gyms, are able to open.  All venues must have a WorkSafe plan in place for safe operation.
A copy of this plan will be available at the club for members to read.

Entry to Club – Contact tracing
Anyone entering the club, who is not playing, must sign the visitor’s book on arrival. This includes non-playing Club Members.
We need to be able to trace everyone who enters the club. All competitors on the night are automatically logged.

Unwell - Please stay Home
If you are unwell or show signs of being unwell you will not be permitted to play and you will be asked to leave.

Self-Isolating
If you have been in contact with anyone that is self-isolating please stay at home.

Physical distancing
Physical distancing means remaining at least one metre away from other people, or if you are closer than one metre, being there for less than 15 minutes.

Physical Contact
Hand shaking, Hugs, Hongi, fist pumps, hand slapping are not to happen.
If you feel you cannot avoid doing this, Stay at home.

Hand Washing
Ensure hand washing is done regularly and thoroughly.
Hand sanitiser will be available at the club and is expected to be used.

Food
Food is available at the club. Please do not share with others.

Player number restrictions
We are also restricting the number of competitors playing, to our Club Members and regular playing guests.
This is the only way to ensure physical distancing.

Bar- Sports who sell merchandise or run bar/café facilities
Bars in club rooms can be open provided that they meet the relevant workplace and public health requirements.
This means reducing the number of people going to the bar at any one time.

Club-Closure
If we fail to operate West City Darts Association safely, WE RISK BEING SHUTDOWN.
Please act appropriately, and we all win.

Common-sense
Please use common-sense. If you have any doubts or concerns – Please stay at home.

Thank you
Mike Day – President, West City Darts Association
