Phil Taylor to come to NZ ! ! !

Phil Taylor to come to NZ !!!... Invercargill to be exact, of all places. A great opportunity to see a massive legend of Darts right here. Hope there are enough motels and hotels in Invercargill to cope with the influx of Aucklanders who have never been past the Bombay Hills before who might be making the trip.

  1. Shame.77% of nz live in the North island...greatest player to ever in darts and we send him to the furthest place away and only the south island qualifier will get to play him...is it the same old story yet again? I would be interested to hear a lot more thoughts on this one

  2. I have posed the question "why Invercargill" through the DPA website. I'll post if they answer. All the same, having the Australasian King of Darts series here in NZ and featuring Phil Taylor is fantastic news and it will be a great opportunity for some Kiwis to see the legend in the flesh

  4. Will they even bother to travel. Holding in invergiggle? Will only be south Islanders and those that have the dosh to waste on expensive airfares. Would rather watch superleague at least wont have to travel far.Have to agree poor choice of venue but thats where the hierachy are based and they probably want it in their home town. Why not Auckland ,wellington, even christchurch way more to do.

  6. Flights, luncheon, tickets, motels food...no change out of 2grand for the two of us from well..cheaper to go to oz and watch 8 of them...don't know how I gonna do this one straight after xmas. and still gonna have to travel to the south for the playoff cause that's the only way you will get to play the power...already guaranteed to go to the sth island qualifier.......... think there is something quite shady about all of this, I thought the DPNZ was supposed to be the future of darts not the same its all about the sth islanders....questions need to answered why
