Playing Sets

I watched a little bit more of the Grand Prix of darts today. It was best of five sets. One anomaly I noticed about playing sets is that you can win more legs than your opponent and loose the game. In the Phil Taylor versus Robert Thornton game that is exactly what happened. Phil won two sets 3-1 and 3-0 and Robert won three sets 3-1, 3-2, 3-2. If you add up the legs Phil won 11 and Robert won 10 but Robert still won overall.
