Michael ' Miko' Osborne 1945 - 2011 RIP

With a lot of sadness I have to report that Miko passed away yesterday morning after a short illness. He was a well known and loved person in West Auckland Darts. He was a member of the Avondale RSA and a member of the Royal George Dart club where he was Treasurer. He was known for throwing his darts with his flights put in the stems backwards. He was a good friend to those who knew him and a great contributor as a player and administrator to the sport of darts in the West. He will be sadly missed. Below is an extract from the NZ Herald printed 4 August 2011.
