Counties Manukau 10 West City 4

Counties Manukau held the Renee Stacey Shield in a challenge by West City Darts Association earlier today at the Bellbird Tavern, Manurewa, winning 10 to 4. After the fours and pairs it was tied 3 all. Then Counties pulled away winning 7 to 1 in the singles. The Renee Stacey Shield is for supramacy in Auckland Provincial Darts.
John Sinclair the Counties number one player had the highest average in the singles hitting 85.8 for every three darts. Which is pretty good off a double start. In the fours he averaged 109.24 each time he threw. In the pairs he averaged 81.48. The best for the visitors was Monty Tuhua with 68.9.
John Sinclair hit two 180's, Paul Williams, hit two 180's, Monty Tuhua 1 x 180. The best finish was 116 from Phil Cave. Paul Williams had the best leg of the day with a 16 darter.
Next Sunday at the Bellbird the two teams meet again in a North Island Shield Challenge.
