Lorene and Ken Win APDE Singles


Lorene Earnshaw and Ken Moir have won the APDE Ladies and Men's singles on Sunday at the West City Darts association club rooms, Ranui. Lorene won the Ladies final against Paeru Ngatuakana 3 to 1. Ken won the Men's final against Tama Kiliyu 3 to nil. The best leg in the men's final was a 19 darter by Ken. The best finish in the ladies final was 95 by Paeru.


There were 72 players participating. Chris Robson, Mal Berry and John Sinclair had the highest start for the men of 160. Rogere Te Whero had the highest start of 152 for the ladies. Mike Collett had the highest finish for the men of 160. Lou Williams had the highest finish of 116 for the ladies. Players to score 180 were Maxine Taaka, Lorene Earnshaw, Jason George, Robert Grant, Graham McElroy, John Dodunski x 3, Ken Moir x 2, Teinaki Metua, Rod Henry, Greville Hurst x 2, Lloyd Tuck, Mal Berry, Paul Williams and John Sinclair.


The next event at the West City club rooms is the APDE men's and ladies pairs on 13th September 2009.
